The Fire Training Section provides entry-level, specialized, leadership and maintenance training to Oregon's fire service professionals on a regional basis and at the Oregon Public Safety Academy. Training is delivered with the assistance of the Oregon Fire Instructors Association, based on identification of specific training needs by individual fire fighting agencies and regions of the state, through a network of agency field staff. These staff members deliver training directly, facilitate provision of training and provide training resources and equipment as needed.
