My name is Ashley Johnson, and I am a death doula located in the DFW area in Texas. I became a death doula to advocate for those who are on their journey to transition to the spirit realm and to assist families in preparing for those transitions. Death can be a difficult thing to discuss, especially in the black community. My goal is to provide a safe and comforting environment to have those conversations.
