Founded by musician and producer James Mayer, Life Is Sound has grown into one of the UK’s leading sound bath communities, welcoming over 3,500 guests to its events.

From our flagship gatherings at Manchester Cathedral to experiences at The Monastery, Victoria Baths and Stretford Public Hall, we bring people together through live music, sound and moments of deep stillness.

Each 90-minute experience combines live handpan, crystal singing bowls, chimes and drums, creating an immersive soundscape designed to help you slow down, switch off and reconnect with yourself.

Beyond our regular events, Life Is Sound also hosts wellbeing retreats, creates bespoke corporate experiences and collaborates with brands to bring meaningful moments of calm into everyday life.
